Ten years ago, there were approximately two EMS related articles published per month; now, there are about ten EMS related articles being published a day.

The EMSO community is currently being influenced and informed by journalistic articles and pundit commentary that is published by defense news outlets, trade magazines, and industrial online journals. Essentially all communities of interest get their start this way. To take EMSO to the next level – one where the EMS is treated as a mainstream scientific field of study – experts must perform scholarly research that is based on peer-reviewed sources and empirical research results.

The RVJ Institute is dedicated to performing critical, accurate research to inform the future body of institutional knowledge for EMSO.

As a 501(c)(3) public charity, RVJ Institute is fully dedicated to generating agnostic, scholarly knowledge that is unbiased and properly summarizes conclusions using peer-reviewed data.
